Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 20 almond slices (for fingernails)
- 1 teaspoon paprika (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix almond flour, cheddar, garlic powder, paprika, and salt in a bowl. Stir in the egg and melted butter until a firm dough forms.
- Roll small pieces of dough into finger shapes, about 3 inches long. Press lines into each piece with a knife to mimic knuckles.
- Press one almond slice onto the tip of each cracker as the “fingernail.” Dust lightly with extra paprika if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crackers are firm and lightly golden around the edges.
- Cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes before moving so they crisp up.
